Downloading wallpapers has always been the highest requested feature from our users. And so, we proudly introduce:

And finally, we’d like to address some users’ concern regarding safety concern.

1. What does WallpaperMoon offer

As mentioned, WallpaperMoon is a wallpaper website created by FreeAddon so that our users can visit and download their favorite wallpapers.

Each new tab extension will have its respective page on the wallpaper website. There you can find and download wallpapers that you like to decorate your desktop, or share your favorite backgrounds via Pinterest.

Currently our goal is to bring all remaining wallpapers from all new tab extensions to this wallpaper website. So in case you do not see your wanted wallpapers or new tabs on the site, don’t be discouraged and let us know. We will ensure to have them available as soon as possible.

With new update 0.1.10, you can now download wallpapers of your installed new tab, simply by clicking Options:

At the bottom of the Options box, you can see a new “Download Wallpapers” button. Click the button to open its respective WallpaperMoon page where you can check out all the wallpapers. There you can:

Click DOWNLOAD to download the wallpapers that you like.
Share it on Pinterest,
If you want to use the images on your blog, forum, etc…, click Embed button to quickly copy the embed code to use on your website.

Download wallpapers via our suggestions

Everytime you open a new tab, you will now also see wallpaper suggestion at the top-right side of your new-tab screen.

Simply click the recommendation and it will open the respective page on WallpaperMoon.com. Then you start downloading wallpapers you like similar to the guide above.

If you have your beloved theme in mind yet you have not install its new tab page, or if you want to explore all themes that we have to offer, you can go directly to WallpaperMoon website.

In case you already have a preferred theme, use the search bar to look for the theme that you wanted.
If you want to explore our collections, WallpaperMoon includes several main categories which we highly recommend checking out and see what themes available in each category.

And of course, you may eventually find a favorite theme and want to have it on your new tab, you can open CWS link of that respective theme via WallpaperMoon page to install our extension.

2. Introducing Yaytab.com – a new branch of FreeAddon

In recent months we noticed that a number of new users express their initial concerns when first see FreeAddon extensions. Though our extensions are guaranteed safe to use, the low ratings & fake reviews due to the Fake Reviews Attack back in 2018 still makes a bad impression for new users.

For this reason, we decide to create a new branch – Yaytab.com, it inherits many extensions from FreeAddon, including popular newtabs like Dogs, Anime, Lamborghini, BTS, etc… This will allow us to provide a fresh start for many extensions, while still maintain the same high quality.

So if you see an extension “offered by yaytab.com”, rest assured that it belongs to our team with the same quality you’re looking for.

3. Featuring 10 New Chrome Themes to combine with your new tab

Chrome Themes are Chrome browser theme that only changes the appearance of your Chrome browser, specfically the outlines and top bar, e.g:

On the other hand, new tab extension only changes your new tab page’s interface. This means Chrome Theme & New Tab extension are two different products. But that also means they can be used together to make your entire Chrome browser looks more lively & beautiful.

4. Don’t worry, FreeAddon is 100% safe to use!

Recently we’ve received feedbacks saying that our extensions got warning “This extension violates the Chrome Web Store policy”:

However, please rest assured that our extensions are still safe to use. We do NOT add virus, adwares, or any malicious codes to harm you or your device!

4.1. Why do you see this warning message?

Specfically back in Sep 14, we received emails from CWS saying that we violated duplication policy: “Publishing multiple items that offer duplicate experiences or functionality across an individual developer account or multiple related developer accounts.”

This explanation means:

Our extension does NOT have virus, adwares, or any malicious codes since this belongs to a totally different policy.
It implies that our extensions have these problems:
- All of our extensions offer the same functionality (or in other words: same features)
- All of our extensions offer the same experience.

However, we still do not think our extensions violate this duplication policy. Here’s why:

4.2. Why our extensions do NOT violate duplication policy?

All of our products are new-tab extensions, therefore, all of them share the same functionalities like Note, To-do list, Countdown Clock, Apps, Most-Visited, etc… BUT, it does NOT mean all of our extensions share the same experience. We believe what makes each new tab extension unique is the wallpaper itself, it is the main reason why a person decides to install a particular new tab.

Each of our extension offers an unique set of wallpapers based on its determined theme. We cover many, many categories from anime, game, films to real-life topic like nature, animals, cars. For example:

Anime: My Hero Academia, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, etc…
Films: Game of Thrones, The Witchers TV series, Avengers, etc…
Game: Among Us, GTA 5, Fortnite, etc…

A person who loves Fortnite will also love Fortnite wallpapers, but he/she does not necessarily like images of cats or forest, therefore he/she will not get cat or forest new tab.

Currently, we are still in discussion with CWS and so you may still see the warning message mentioned above. But again, please rest assured that our extensions are still SAFE TO USE!
